Can you explain about the 1 gb of data per month you recommended? Is that for texting? I'm virtually clueless when it comes to most of this. Hi. The price u mentioned probably does include some data. However it won't include a lot of dAta so will probably not cover your use. I agree with u though. Even paying more for data, there pricing is great. On May 27, 2014 9:38:51 PM EDT, Troy Burnham <troyburnham34@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: So the data plan isn't included in the price on the web site? It isn't mentioned but I didn't know if it would be mentioned or not. And if this is true is the data plan likely to cost extra? It's still a great price even if the price of a data plan is added, I just don't want to be surprised when I call to get service. Hi. I recently checked out there site in relation to a work project. This is the prepaid carrier i would go with. There network runs on at&t coverage so that shouldn't be an issue for most people. There pricing is the best i have ever seen in a prepaid carrier. The biggest thing you will want to look for is the data plan, if you don't have a wifi connection available you will need at least 1 GB of data per month. Hope this helps. Norman. According to their site, consumercellular.com, they offer plans for as little as $10 plus 25 cents a minute for any calls made, and since I'll only very occasionally be using my new phone to make calls or to send texts this sounds like the plan for me. I just realized as I was writing this though that I didn't see any mention of how much it costs to send texts, and I don't know if there would be any other charges. Of course I could call and talk to them, but I'm such a new-be with all of this that I'm afraid that they might be able to talk me into something that I don't really need.
