[va-richmond-general] Re: Hawk Help

Do you have an idea what species the hawk might be?  At this time of  year, 
we have noticed young red tails learning to manage on their own.  We  actually 
have some pretty good pictures (taken in the pre-digital era) of a  young red 
tail with a squirrel that it killed in our yard.  And one of our  neighbors 
reported a hawk on the ground and called us to ask if it was OK.   They sent us 
their digital pictures and we were able to confirm that it was a  red tail.
