Charlie Clarkson, a graduate student of Charlie Blem's that will be working with prothonotaries at Dutch Gap this spring and summer, reports that prothonotary warblers arrived there yesterday in good numbers. Charlie has been out there early every morning for the last two weeks waiting for them! He color-banded two of them in conjunction with his thesis project, and one of those was a prothonotary banded at Dutch Gap last year. Welcome back!
