I've read conversation about dogs the last several days and the regulatory
groups that aren't controlling them. Maybe I've missed it but I haven't seen
one mention of Richmond Animal Control - it is, after all, their job and
whoever invented pepper spray did a wonderful thing for animal control. The
police have enough problems trolling for bodies.

That said, Linda and I visited the swamp at Flower Dew today and saw 2
battling male prothonotaries, 3 white-eyed vireos, a male and female common
yellow throat and a pair of blue birds.

At College Run we saw a male and female Northern Parulla, an immature male
Orchard Oriole moving through, an adult and immature Bald Eagle, along with
the usual assortment of chickadees, cardinals, etc.
