Va Birders:
My husband and I are planning to go to Alaska this summer and are looking
for good places to bird and good sights to see. We are not super hikers but
we can do about 8-10 miles in any given day, so medium size excursions are
well within our range. We hope to get to go to Denali NP but beyond
that...there is so much choice we just are not sure where to start, or
exactly when would be the best time to visit. We are also rather
experienced travelers so organized groups are not required (but if that is
the best way - we can do that too), we actually enjoy just roaming around on
our own at our pace :-)
If any of you have experience you could share with us I would be extremely
grateful.
