My work schedule has changed again, but now I can bird mornings. I went out
to Craney Island this morning after seen the posting about the Least Bittern
and Willow Flycatcher.
I heard the flycatcher, but found no bitterns. The other notable sightings
I had were a American Kestrel on the west side of Craney and 13 Black-necked
Stilts on the west side of the northern impoundment. I first saw 6 stilts,
then 8, then 10, and finally 13.
