Hello all
This afternoon after work Pat & I went up on the Blue Ridge Parkway at the
Humpback Rocks Visitors Center to see if any Woodcocks were wintering over ,
since the weather has not been to harsh in our area so far . Well at about 5
:30 we heard some peeting -- they were there & a few minutes later they were
peeting & displaying . We counted at least 6 birds . Pat & I heard them the
best from where you turn in to park to climb up Humpback Rock . Other birds
that I saw today while working were as follows .
Red-belied Woodpecker
Horned Lark
Eastern Bluebird
Am. Robin
Cedar Waxwing
House Finch
Goldfinch
Allen Larner
Staunton
