I will only add that, on a brief FL birding foray two years ago, we stayed at
a rather seedy, but friendly and clean, Howard Johnson's motel right on the
Indian River in Titusville, near both Cape Canaveral and Merritt Island. The
river was literally at our back door, and manatees playing just feet away, to
the delight (and photo op) of all!
