Greetings to all:
On Saturday, January 12, 2008 while returning from Danville on Hwy 58, I saw
a total of 42 Hooded Mergansers in the pond own by Fred Leggett. This was a
new pond built in 2002 and soon had a total of 8 species of ducks the first
winter.
I also now have a total of 7 Purple Finches coming to my feeders in the
backyard.
No Evening Grosbeaks yet, but still looking and hoping, as it has been years
since I saw my last.
