I had a male Purple Finch show up at the feeder today at 5:00 pm. It had red
all over the wings and back, and over the entire head, so I am confident
this was not a House Finch. He came to the feeder with hulled sunflower
seeds and was there for about half hour or so. I would be nice if he stuck
around for a bit!
