Brenda,
I Would like to know more about the Bear Mountain Hawkwatch. Probably too
far to go there frequently but worth a try once or twice during the season.
I too have noticed a lag in posted emails and also folks responding to
emails that I sent but for which I can not locate the email. Which is
exactly what you described.

There does appear to be lag time in messages getting posted to VA-Bird.
I sent one out minutes ago and verified 1) I switched to "Plain Text" and 2)
I was sending out on correct email ID.
It still has not posted. I went to the listserve itself and it's not there.
However, there is a message from Paula Sullivan on this very subject, which
prompted me to respond.
At this point, I don't know if my posting is in limbo or lost in cyberspace
or just overall rejected.
I'll retry resending info on newly formed Bear Mountain Hawk Watch in
Highland County.
