I finally got close to the Loggerhead Shrike at Sky Meadows SP this morning..
It's in the same spot by the fishing pond. Today it was next to the white
house. Jumping from the trees to the ground, to the fence and even on the porch
of the house.

Also, on the way home from the park I saw two Red-tailed Hawks in a field along
Rt. 55 between Delaplane and Marshall. One Hawk had what appeared to be a Rock
Dove. I've never seen a Red-tail with a bird in it's talons. I didn't see the
kill so I'm not sure if the Red-tailed Hawk killed it or just got lucky and
found it on the ground. There was also a Red Fox in the area.
