All,
Today at Lake Brittle in Fauquier County there were 121 Hooded
Mergansers on the section of the lake that can be seen from Lake Brittle
Drive. To get there take Broad Run Church Road off Rt. 29 in New
Baltimore and then turn right onto Shepardstown Road and then right
again on Lake Brittle Drive.
Also present there were 20 Canada Geese, 123 Mallards, 2 Northern
Pintail, 35 American Green-winged Teal, 14 Ring-necked Ducks, 26
Bufflehead, and 14 Ruddy Ducks.
