VA BIRDers,
I finally managed to get up early and sampled the migration at Huntley,
starting at 0700. I ran into Ed Eder and the two of us tallied birds at the
Harrison St parking lot and along the boardwalk for a bit less than 2 hrs.
I came back after work and watched the sun go down and added just a few more
to the list. Songbird diversity was good; I wished numbers were up a bit,
but there was a fair amount of activity and many birds were missed. No
shorebirds. Below is the list of the more interesting species.
