With all the snow and ice the feeders were really hopping today. There were
plenty of sparrows around: several Towhee, one Fox Sparrow, scads of Song and
White-throated Sparrows, and Juncos. Also 3 Purple Finches with the House and
Goldfinches.
Best of all, there was a Hermit Thrush eating Sumac berries in some brush
piles, along with a Yellow-rumped Warbler.
