Hello all,
This morning Carol looked out the window and saw a live Great Blue standing by
the decorative one we have by our small backyard pond. The snow has melted
enough for more of the pond to be in view. We think the Great Blue thought this
might be a potential friend hunting at the pond. It flew off in short order--we
suspect after determining the other Great Blue wasn't real! (Also, the goldfish
are hibernating at the bottom of the pond.)
Also, we've heard more singing since the snow storm ended. Are the birds happy
because of that or are spring juices starting to flow, or both?
