[va-bird] Chipping Sparrows, Merlin, and Many,Many Bluejays

  I had the first Chipping Sparrows(6) of the fall in my yard yesterday 
afternoon, and while my son and I were talking in the driveway around 5pm we 
heard 
a loud racket in the trees and saw a Merlin fly out over to the lake in the 
front yard. This morning while on the back deck observing the usual migrants I 
counted 250 Bluejays streaming over and I missed probably 40-50 more before I
