I was curious about this myself and checked the archives of the VA-Bird
list. It appears that there was no sighting in 2003, but a Black Rail
played to standing room only audiences at Huntley Meadows between June
10 and June 22 of 2002. The was one further report on July 4 of that
year. If anyone has additional records for 2002 or any for 2003,
please post to this list.
