Hello all
Just a quick note to let everyone know that the Baird's Sandpiper is still
hanging out at Leonard's Pond on Rt. 678 in Rockingham County. Pat & I saw Mark
Adams there this afternoon & we saw a small but good assortment of Shorebirds .
Besides the Baird's we had one each of Solitary & Spotted , two Pectoral , five
each of Least & Semipalmated . Plus a good number of Tree Swallow's . At times
the Baird's can be as close as 20 to 30 feet away from you .
Back in Augusta County on Bells Lane Pat & I had 4 Least Sandpiper's , one
Semipalmated Plover & one Solitary .
