A group of ten intrepid birders watched the fog burn off the Central Pond at
Huntley Meadows Park on Monday morning. Gene Keefe and Mary Floyd were the
leaders of the regularly scheduled Monday Morning Birdwalk. By 0730 the
visibility was almost thirty feet. The birds did not seem to mind the poor
visibility.
The highlight of the day was a Barred Owl at the beginning of the trail near
the Visitor's Center. A Lincoln's Sparrow was reported later in the Morning
near the Tower.
