Must be in the weather...
Down in Richmond - in the city, no less - we've had half a dozen or so
hummers in our small backyard at times, vying for the one feeder and
surrounding flowers. As described elsewhere, virtually nothing early
summer, but flurries of activity now, especially late in the day/early
evening. Friends in the outskirts north (Montpelier, Ashland) are seeing
many hummers also.

I live in Fairfax County and counted 13 Ruby-throated Hummingbirds at the
same time in my yard while changing my feeders this afternoon. This is a
record for me. Anyone else getting these numbers?
