It was something that he enjoyed no matter where he was or what he was doing. After finishing high school in rural Eastern Kentucky, he applied for an array of programs which lead to a degree in Music Composition and finally chose the University of Southern California. After completing a 3 ½ year program at USC, Kyle began composing music for the New York Philharmonic Orchestra while attending Eastman School of Music for a Masters Degree in Music Composition and Conducting. After continuing to compose for the New York Philharmonic Orchestra for 6 years, Kyle left the post to assume a Composer role for the new hit feature film "Attack on Earth: The Zindi" in which he won 3 Emmy awards for 'Best Original Score', 'Most Energetic Score' and 'Best Music Implementation'. Kyle continued working in the Film industry for 3 years in which he received 7 other Emmy nominations while attending the University of Southern California for a PhD in Music Composition (Film Music). Having been a composer for 9 years, Kyle was now becoming more interested in other fields. After realizing he had fulfilled all of the requirements to enter Medical School, he was successfully admitted to Brown Medical College to obtain a Medical Degree. Shortly after finishing the 4-year residency program Kyle entered the Starfleet Officer Training Academy in San Francisco, California and upon completion began practicing Emergency Medicine at Starfleet Medical with the rank of Ensign.
