Captain's Log, Stardate 64609.81 (08/11/2387, 13:00 hours)

    Nigala Station has been back in the hands of Starfleet personnel for over twenty four hours now. Ah have been told, bah Commodore Hirsch, that the Nigalan President, whom started this whole thing, wasn't even Nigalan. He turned out to be a shapeshifter. The Nigalan government is in a bit of turmoil rahght now, as different leaders scramble to lay clain to the Presidency. Because of this, both Hirsch and Ah agree that keeping a vigilant eye on ships coming to and from the planet would be prudent.
    In the battle to retake the station, quahte a bit of damage has been inflicted, both interior and exterior. Because of this, Ah have informed Starfleet Command we will stay on a bit longer and assist Hirsch's people in at least getting things up and running. Admiral Janeway has told me to take all the tahme we or Nigala needed and she was glad to hear of the outcome.
    We have rotating shifts, helping the Nigala engineers, and effecting our own repairs, as well as keeping an alert status, to watch what happens on Nigala. Ah have also approved shore leave on Nigala's promenade, for shops that haven't been damamged or closed since the wormhole's closing.
    Ensign Banning and the rest of our scahence department are working on fahnding out what happened with the wormhole. They are exchanging data with Hirsch's people.
