Well there is lots of information to send out this
week in addition to the showings and such.
First, we are meeting Saturday June 25 12:30-6:00 in
room 521A-B University Center.

errors came back from some expired e-mail accounts. As
a result some e-mail addresses have been removed from
the e-mail list. So if you know anyone whom either has
suddenly found that they are no longer receiving club
e-mail or whom would like to receive this handy club

The Manitoba Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre 180
McPhillips Street
Two special screenings are scheduled for 2:00 pm and
7:00 pm
Admission is $6/person in advance and $8/person at the
door
Japanese Bento boxes and traditional snacks will be
available
The event is a fundraising event for The Manitoba
Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre

International Festival of Films for Kids of All Ages

UMAnime membership card design contest
Attention UMAnime members
We?re looking for designs for the 2006 UMAnime
membership cards!
We?re looking for a new design for next year?s
membership cards.
All designs must feature Nime, the club?s mascot.
She?s a pointy-
eared, grey-haired anime girl with blue eyes and blue
and yellow
clothing. For examples of Nime, visit
http://www.umanime.org.
The cards must contain the following information in
this order:

Name:____________________
Expires: October 2006
Authorized by:______________

Rules:
-You must be a UMAnime member. Current executives are
not eligable to
enter.
-Entries must be full-colour, standard business card
size (2 inches
high by 3 inches wide), and at least 300 dpi
-Entries must be submitted electronically in PDF, EPS
or TIFF format.
-E-mail entries to president@xxxxxxxxxxx
-Entries must be received no later than August 31,
2005.
-Entries will be judged by UMAnime executive members.
-All entries become property of UMAnime.
The following information MUST be included.
-First and last name
-E-mail address
-Telephone number
-UMAnime membership number (it?s on the back of your
card)
Prize:
The winning entry will become the 2006 UMAnime
membership cards and
the designer will recieve a drink and snack of their
choice.
