Cincinnati Police have recently received several reports of robberies
and/or attempted robberies that have occurred on Clifton Ave. between
Martin Luther King Dr. and Dixsmyth Avenue. The suspect is a Male Black
30-40 years of age, 5'6" to 6'0" tall, thin build. He has a thin
moustache with graying hair. He wears dark clothing, described as a
black sweatshirt with a hoodie in at least two of the offenses.

During the offense the suspect approaches victim from behind, indicates
he has a gun and says he will shoot the victim if his orders are
ignored. The suspect then demands that the victim give up money and or
ATM cards. The victim is then told to run in one direction while the
suspect runs in the opposite direction.

The majority of victims have been walking alone after dark.

If you have any information regarding these offenses, please contact
Cincinnati Police, District Five at 352-3578 or call Crime Stoppers at

Cincinnati Police and University of Cincinnati Police suggest walking in
