Helloo fellow neighbors and friends--
 
February is here. Our meeting is next Tuesday February 16th at 7:30 pm.  We 
have two speakers on the agenda that have been requested.
 
Stefan Spinosa, from the State Department of Transportation, will speak first 
as close to 7:30 as possible.  He will be discussing the I-75 plans and 
developments that will be happening in the next 5-10 years there, esp with the 
Western Hills Viaduct plans.
 
Dan Schimberg, representing North American Properties and Uptown Rentals, will 
be discussing potential plans for the Friars Club and the space around it.  The 
Board met with Mr. Schimberg already and asked him many thoughtful questions.  
Those questions and the answers given will be available to everyone as a 
seperate handout at the back of the meeting.
 
And last, but not least, the neighborhood Summit is February 26th and 27th.  I 
enocurgae everyone to go and participate in the process for the Comprehensive 
PLan.  The Saturday session at the Xavier Cintas Center is an all day event 
focused on the Comprehensive PLan and is many facets.  Help shape the future of 
the City!

CUF membership 
Any person subscribing to the purpose of the CUF Neighborhood Association, Inc. 
and paying dues set by the Association may become a member. Election of 
Trustees is held at the annual meeting in July. Eligible voters are residents 
of the community who are at least 18 years of age and who are fully paid 
members of the Association and who have at¬tended three general meetings after 
payment of dues during the year prior to the annual meeting. Non-res¬ident 
members have voice but no vote in Association meetings and may not hold 
elective office. Annual CUF dues are $6.00.
CUF general meetings: 
3rd Tuesday of each month, except August and De¬cember, 7:30 pm, Deaconess 
Hospital Cafeteria, 311 Straight Street
CUF Trustee meetings: 
1st Tuesday of each month, 7:00 pm, Deaconess Hospital Cafeteria, 311 Straight 
Street
CUF annual meeting and election: 
3rd Tuesday in July, 7:30 pm, Deaconess Hospital Cafeteria, 311 Straight Street
