Many University Heights residents were in attendance because of interest in changes to Riddle Rd. Rob Neel (president) led the meeting. Officer Lisa Johnson reported that crime is lower and that there have been many arrests for prostitution. Thefts from autos continues to be a problem. There were presentations from Greater Cincinnati energy alliance announcing a contest for Greening your home which ends on Friday. See greatercea.org for information. Jeff Wallace gave a presentation on the streetcar emphasizing the economic and developmental benefits. The current plans call for it to run from Findlay Market to downtown as Phase 1. There was considerable discussion concerning changes to Riddle Road-The city has proposed no left turns from Riddle to Martin Luther King. They are also proposing to take a section of Burnet Woods for an additional lane. Both CUF and Clifton town meetings have written letters to the city opposing these changes (CUF's is still in draft form for discussion). Changes in Burnett Woods is controversial because it was not part of the original plan. There will be a meeting early in July with the city and the communities. Rob will keep us posted. There will be a pool party at Fairview Pool on July 30th at 5:30 PM. It is important to support that pool because it will only be funded if people use it. There was other business but I wanted to give you a summary
