The CUF meeting last night was interesting if a bit long. Two points of
immediate interest.
1. Matt from CHCURCH reported that the U.C Board is reviewing funding
at their meeting on June 27. Apparently they have temporarily cut back on
payments. He said not to panic because the new administrator is trying to
learn and deal with budget issues. However it is important to let U.C know
that the neighborhood expects them to honor their commitments. If the
current projects are not completed, the Calhoun area could turn into a war
zone which would harm all of us. .CUF is recommending polite reminder
letters of that fact. The contact person is Monica Rimai, V.P

2. Gayle Prager from University Heights is running for trustee. She has
been involved in our group and many community activities. If you have
attended at least 3 CUF meetings this year, please vote in the July
elections. Details are in the newsletter.
