Hi:
I am also sending a policy paper that NUPGE passed at our last Convention. It
contains some information on mental health and addictions issues in the
workplace.
Given that we have a large number of first responders among our membership
there is a bit in this on post-traumatic stress disorder and the need for
presumptive legislation.

Subject: [TURC] research on mental health and addictions in the workplace
Does anyone know of any recent research around policy or recommendations to
governments etc around the issue of mental health and addictions -
particularly as it relates to the workplace and unions' response?
The NL government has an all party committee consulting with public and orgs
on this issue and I would like to put something together to submit from the
NLFL.
Thanks much
