Hi Team,

By now you should have gotten a user name and password to log into the source
control at
http://www.sourcehosting.net/index.php. If you have not tried to login, now
might be an appropriate time to do that.

If you're logged it's time to setup Eclipse with the SVN plugin and then to see
if you can fetch the code from the repository and build it. It's just a little
project at the moment; it only has a splash screen. (But you'll change that,
right?)

To get installation instructions for the plug-in, go to the Wiki which is found
here https://secure.sourcehosting.net/ChelmsfordSkillsSh/trac/wiki/WikiStart;
you will probably be asked for your password. If this doesn't work, login to
your sourcehosting account and click on the "Trac" link near the center of the
page. When you get to the Wiki, go to the AndroidDevelopment page and you find
instructions for installing the plug-in and also for using it.

Caveat: these instructions are taken from the GettingStarted.doc document in
the File section of the Yahoo group site; the are not for EventBoss but for
earlier projects. It is my sincere hope that they will suffice to get you
going. I apologize for not having more robust directions for you but I wanted
you to have something to try before our next meeting. I've been a little short
of spare time lately.

Please let me know how things go - good or bad.

Regarding the Wiki, it's for everyone to contribute to. If you've anything you
might think would be helpful to others, put it up on the Wiki. Also feel free
to correct or extend existing content while trying not to undo what the
original author wrote. (On the other hand, if anyone wants to create a new
version of the current SVN information, feel free.

I look forward to your questions, suggestions, gripes, etc.

Cheers,

jim
