Also, please make it known that this is for the "big boys and girls" RvR, not BGs. None of this is followed in BG RvR as proven last night. I have posted my feelings about last night's event and the general gist of the post is ... I was very disappointed in the more experienced RvR players, in our alliance and in our guild. I will never lead a BG event again. That was the biggest waste of my time and overall a huge disappointment. I had actually looked forward to that event all week and gave my all trying to get our younger players past 20 (Beom, Eathen, Runtann), not alts, so that they could participate. I did spend time with Lae, Q, and Bob's alts trying to get them up to our level as well for this event but it didn't work out fast enough. I think they made it to 16 or 17. I really feel sorry for the ones that were listening like Beom, who was sticky to me the whole time. That was certainly not a good example to show our guild's younger players. Everyone should camp the night before the event at the start point for the event. And everyone needs to be there prior to start time so we can actually leave at the designated start time. 2. The event posting should include a suggested bind spot. 3. There will be one person that handles all chat group invites and assigns people to groups. This should not be the event leader, and also assumes that the group leaders are present early so they can issue the invites. Event leader and group coordinator should be announced prior to event. 4. Groups should be balanced in level as much as possible, so that group healers are not given an impossible task, leading to frustration for the whole group. 5. Group chat will be primarily for the event leader, helpers, and other officers and guild leaders. All others will use alliance chat for communication, relying upon their group leader for instructions and updates. 6. When it makes sense, we will have a "kick-off" event that gets those that are on time right into the action as soon as possible. Those that come later will be brought into the main group as soon as possible, but should not require a long pause in the action to do this. 7. When the event is aimed at RvR, a good plan would be taking a keep, and then using it as a base of operations for regular RvR, preferably in Hibernia At this point, Bob you can move this discussion to the alliance officers board.
