Hi, Rich! I have been lurking on TN-moths for a while now and have come to really appreciate your identification skills! Merril Lynch and I are in discussions for starting our own NC-moths list because we both think that what you all are doing is absolutely fantastic! The reason I am writing is that I am having somewhat of an issue with all of these Phigalias. I work at a small county park (450 acres) and I am currently working on a moth inventory--so I am trying to sort through each and every one I see to try to correctly identify it. I usually upload the photos to my blog and when I have questions, I will send a message to Carlolinaleps with the link--but there are far more butterfliers here in NC than moth-ers so I don't usually get much response. Could you take a look at the Phigalias and tell me if you think I identified them correctly? Here is the link: http://reflectionsonthecatawba.blogspot.com/2010/03/confusing-moths.html I would greatly appreciate it! Hope you have a wonderful weekend. -- ----- Lori Owenby www.reflectionsonthecatawba.blogspot.com Catawba County Parks Conover, NC __________________________ If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things in nature have a message you understand, Rejoice, for your soul is alive. --Eleanora Duse (1858-1924)
