The Phigalia in the attached image initially appeared to have been the survivor of a bird attack. However, closer inspection reveals that the left forewing shape and markings are the result of unusual development. (zoom in to full size) I think this is a Small Phigalia. It's one of another 20-30 Phigalias that showed up at the UV light last night. (photographed during lunch today, 08 March 2010, Anderson Co., TN) - Doug
