TN-Moth-ers: Finally had my FOS moth last night at my porch light. I have tentatively identified it as either Lithophane grotei #9915 or L. unimoda #9916. I plan to send a pic to Bug Guide for confirmation. I'm at 3400' elevation and still have nearly 100% snowpack. The moth was flying with an air temp of 38. I also saw a wooly bear caterpillar (Pyrrharctia isabella) #8129 crawling across my snow-covered driveway--amazing considering I've had over 100" of snow at my house this winter with temps last week in the mid-teens. -- J.
