Format your hodges field as text; then Excel doesn't care.

  Subject: [tn-moths] Anderson Co. moths

After 3 good nights, tonight has been pretty lousy for moths. I guess every
night can't be great! Here are the new ones I found the past couple of nights:

  Broad-banded Eulogia Moth #5999 Eulogia ochrifrontella 9-7-10

Laudable Arches #10411 Lacinipolia laudabilis 9-6-10

Little White Lichen Moth #8098 Clemensia albata 9-6-10

  Many-lined Angle #6353 Macaria multilineata 9-6-10

  Six-spotted Gray #8479 Spargaloma sexpunctata 9-7-10

Spotted Straw Moth #11073.1 Heliocheilus lupatus 9-6-10 (that decimal point
messes up my Excel database, it doesn't like decimals and drops them!)

I'm trying to make up for the 2 weeks I "lost" while I was on vacation, I
can't let Knox Co. get too far ahead of Anderson! Diana has been on a roll
lately! ;) I have a few that I just can't ID, I'll post photos of them later.
