June 2, 2014, Blount Co. During a very brief outing yesterday there was lots of expected activity including the hopeful find of a Cherokee Clubtail female. Didn't see any males but the sun was already off the creek where they are usually seen. This is three years in a row, now, always in early to the 3rd week of June. Some literature suggested they might have a 2 year life cycle, but this seems do cast doubt on that idea. Tom Howe Alcoa, TN
