Debra,
You may be right, can't say for sure from the one photo. The other possibility 
would be Jade Clubtail. From this shot the club looks red-brown and not dark 
brown, more correct for Jade than Bayou, but this may be factor of photo 
exposure. And the thorax would be more well-marked on Bayou than on Jade- I 
can't see the thorax stripes well in this photo. Have other shots?

My husband and I photographed this dragonfly in ShelbyCounty.  We think it is a 
 Bayou Clubtail but we are not very good at dragonflyidentification and would 
like to have some input as to the ID.
