Last Saturday, June 12, we had the first annual Dragonfly Day at Warriors Path State Park, in Kingsport. Organized by myself and park naturalist Marty Silver, the event was a success with aprox 12 attendees, good-enough weather (it only rained hard before and after the field session), and all got to see and photograph some good bugs. The star attraction, Cherokee Clubtail, finally made an appearance and was seen well by most. Marty is threatening to do this again next year, in some fashion.
