For those of you who aren’t already aware of this I have put together a
somewhat different version of the NABA TN Valley Chapter web site. It is
located at http://tvcnaba.org/.

Most of this is the same as the old site with minor changes. The main
difference is the Butterflies in Counties page. This will let you look at what
butterflies have been seen and not yet seen by county or which counties a
butterfly has and has not been seen in.

From the Butterflies by County view you can open a printable checklist for the
county. I got the idea for this from Doug Bruce who says he got the idea from
David Trently, thanks to both of you for the idea. Depending on which web
browser you are using you will have to experiment with margins, turn off
headings and footers in order to get this to print on a single page and
probably enable the printing of background colors so the highlighting will
print.

The data behind the Butterflies in Counties page is updated nightly from the
BAMONA site (assuming things work as expected) so the data should be as up to
date as yesterday at any point in time.

If you have any comments or suggestions about the site you can drop me an email
off the list or there is an email link at the bottom of each page for this
purpose.

Enjoy,
Dave
