At Kentucky Manor on November 14, 2011, it was windy (gusts to 29 mph) and warm (high 76 F), cloudy with periods of sun. A total of 9 species of 13 individuals was observed. Available butterfly nectar plants were Black and Blue Salvia, Salvia greggii, pansies, snapdragons, pink petunias, and New Gold Lantana. Did not see feed. Species was present on the 13th. * Gulf Fritillary (2,D) - Flew around a number of times in the morning; both seen at the same time, one being much paler. Fed on pansies and snapdragons. * Red Admiral (1,D) - Small. Was in Herb Garden. Flew down on the ground for a few seconds, then off and not seen again. Did not see feed. * Clouded Skipper (3,D) - Fed on pansies.
