Two new county records for Decatur County this weekend:
Dainty Sulphur (photo forwarded to Steve Stedman) Sept. 17, 2010
Southern Dogface (photo forwarded to Steve Stedman) Sept. 19, 2010
This is the year for Dainty Sulphurs, so if your county or surrounding counties
don't have a record for this usually sparse species, you should look. They
tend to like dry, sandy areas, particularly the edges of cultivated fields and
roadsides.
