I had chalked up the absence of Night Hawks to a change in habitat. The land
where we once had Night Hawks was kept closely groomed by our sheep. When we
got out of the sheep business we soon lost the Night Hawks. I still see and
hear plenty in towns where they apparently nest on roofs. I certainly miss
them.
