TN-Birders: I've placed a couple of shots of the Wood Stork Jeff and I saw in Memphis over the weekend. For anyone interested, the gallery is here: http://www.pbase.com/mctodd/wood_stork. It is a shame that we couldn't relocate any Storks on Sunday for the Nashville TOS group that was down. I would have loved to have gotten a shot of the bird of the weekend, the immature dark-morph Broad-winged Hawk we had all too-brief looks at on Sunday morning. This is my 1st experience with this very scarce morph in the east, and a little earlier than you would expect to see one coming through. It has been a strange migration already though. The dark Broad-wing was a gorgeous bird nonetheless. Good Birding!!
