Location: Hatchie National Wildlife Refuge Observation date: 11/25/07,150-350pm Notes: Jerry McKenna reported to me yesterday about a Whooping Crane at the NWR. I had to visit, bad weather and all. Cold rain constant drizzle, heavy fog. Reported Crane to Crane Migration Group. Drake had white facial Crescent showing. Halfway between eclipse and basic plumage both birds flapped wings a couple of times and the blue/gray wing patches cemented ID. Only one Snow Goose is confirmed White Morph.
