I am sure some feeder designs are aimed at us, the providers. We had some proof
maybe. Kay thought the red British Phone booth feeder was appropriate for me to
add to our collection. It looked fine the first day, but soon we found the
whole Sheppard's Crook bent over to the ground with the phone booth torn open.
Two days later it was torn bodily from the crook. We assume that raccoons are
attracted to red - they do not tear off the various other feeders, and what
else is strong enough/heavy enough to bend the crook to the ground? Ralph and
Kay Brinkhurst, Lebanon, Wilson Co.
