[TN-Bird] White-w Dove - Memphis

Shelby Co. TN
A White-w Dove was found on Channel Street in front of the Tem-Co Tractor
Building. It flew across the road and landed out of sight. Also on the
Island, a single nesting of Scissor-tails and 4 nests of Western Kingbirds,
one
included a second generation hybrid paired with a male Western Kingbird.
Five other Western Kingbird nests, in the industrial area just off the
Island, in southwest Memphis, are active. I've not seen any evidence of
nesting near or around the TVA Steam Plant yet. In other areas in north
Memphis,
I've seen birds on or near old nest sites and will get into those areas to
nail down nests maybe this week, after they open a few more roads in flooded
areas.
