Good heavens, I forgot this week past to post on the Whipporwill I heard last
weekend about 3 miles upstream of Lilly Bridge on the Obed River, not too far
from Lancing (Morgan County). I typically only hear them during spring
migration, and they continue on their way while the Chuck-will's-widows stay in
my area. Anyone know common is it to hear a Whipporwill in the area at this
time of year? Thanks in advance for your knowledge.
