[TN-Bird] Re: Western Sandpipers

Many thanks to all who sent comments.  The consensus, and I concur, is that
they are not Western Sandpipers but are Least Sandpipers, with one possible
Simipalmated Sandpiper in the bunch.   Least Sandpipers also have long,
slightly droopy bills.  In first photo, the furtherest bird is out of water
enough to see the pale legs.  Scapulars are dark centered with tan to rusty
brown edging and white tip.  You can make out the V on some of their
backs.  The closest bird facing the camera in the first photo may be a
Simipalmated.
