While at my parent's home in southeast Nashville, a small flock of cedar
waxwings were seen in the maple tree.

Winter wren is still here around our deck area in Bedford Co TN (Normandy)
~8 Hooded Mergansers were seen today near Bell Buckle in a local pond. We have
had these since early November.
Last Wed (Nov 10) we had ~ 4 pair of Wood Ducks near the low water bridge on
Bugscuffle Rd near Wartrace.
Everytime we seem to have a "wow- can't get better than this..." it proves us
wrong! Although time is scarce right now for birding, we cherish any glimpses
and "walk-away" looks we do have!
