CARTER COUNTY: Elizabethton

COCKE COUNTY: Rankin Bottoms (RB) and vicinity

GREENE COUNTY: Joachime Bible Refuge unit of Lick Creek Bottoms Wildlife 
Management Area (JBR); Wal-Mart Distribution Center (WMDC); numerous 
other sites, mostly near Greeneville and Tusculum

HAMBLEN COUNTY: Douglas Lake shoreline along Leeper's Ferry Road about a 
quarter mile from the mouth of the Nolichuckey River (DL); Bent Creek 
Road and numerous other roads south of Morristown

HAWKINS COUNTY: Cherokee Lake shoreline along Old Highway 70 (CL)

JEFFERSON COUNTY: White Pine and Leadvale

JOHNSON COUNTY: Highway 321 (between Carter Co., TN and Avery Co., NC)

SULLIVAN COUNTY: Kingsport

WASHINGTON COUNTY: Limestone/Telford area

Double-crested Cormorant
2 on Holston River in Kingsport on July 4;
1 in Hawkins Co. (CL) on July 17;
1 in Hamblen Co. (DL) on July 23;
23 in Cocke Co. on July 23

Great Egret
1-2 in Hawkins Co. (CL) on July 8, 17;
2 at WMDC on July 22;
15 in Hamblen Co. (DL) on July 23;
12 at RB on July 23

Little Blue Heron
1 immature in Hawkins Co. (CL) on July 17;
8 immatures and 1 adult in Hamblen Co. (DL) on July 23

Cattle Egret
1 in Hamblen Co. (DL) on July 23

Osprey
1 in Hamblen Co. (DL) on July 23;
2 at RB on July 23

Bald Eagle
1 immature in Hamblen Co. (DL) on July 23

1 in Greeneville on July 13

Red-headed Woodpecker
1 at intersection of Highway 70 and Dolittle Road, Greene Co. on July 8

Eastern Kingbird
1 albinistic/leucistic bird at 1892 Shiloh Road, Greene Co. on July 2; 
this is the same bird reported in my post of June 9, 2006
